The canopy bed as expression of luxury

The canopy bed is one of the universally recognized symbols of luxury: every noble or real respected environment is dedicated to rest foresaw these luxurious curtains, usually made with precious fabrics and richly decorated, supported by wooden columns also worked and carved. In short, a radical transformation, and even today the canopy bed is one of the most beloved symbols of luxury, an indispensable element for the true fans of classic style.

Canopy bed: wooden models

The canopy bed today prefers to be compared with models with the four columns that besides being heavy hide the bed and its beautiful workmanship, the wall models: it is real “a crown” attached to the wall that hold a cascade of high quality fabrics. The beds in wooden canopy are usually a richly carved crown, with finishes used for the headboard: we can have for example a wood finish, gold leaf or silver leaf, or even special finishes such as that of white gold.
